The Fiat Classical Academy family gathered together on October 19 to celebrate our patron’s feast day (October 22) for the first time as a school community. What a wonderful night!
A Fiat mom decorated the St. Mary’s gym beautifully, including images of St. John Paul II throughout the room.
In advance of the celebration, Miss Clare Wilson volunteered to teach folk dances to students. That evening, she refreshed the memories of the students and taught the parents, siblings and other faculty present.
We also had friends of Fiat serve as guest swing dance instructors. The evening alternated between dances like the Virginia Reel and swing.
Grandparents chatted, toddlers twirled, students laughed and conversed. We feasted, danced and enjoyed the presence of Fiat families and faculty, remembering the beautiful life of St. John Paul II.
